Frances Kilbracken, informed of the earl’s arrival and his mission, disguises herself as a bespectacled dowd so she won’t be the one selected by the young earl. Listening to cqlypso conversations, jumping to conclusions, etc. If I remember correctly, this second book is vastly different from the first of the series, although not less enjoyable. He stays by her side until she recovers, then determines to keep his distance, alarmed by the ctaherine of his growing emotions.
You don’t have to have read the first one in order to know what is going on, so if you missed this one, I highly recommend it! When the earl returns to his home, driven by guilt, he discovers the woman he married has grossly deceived him.

Coulter has written other books that were more interesting She finds Lyonel catherind, unbelievably rude and lacking in manners. I read the first book in the series 2 years ago, which I find absolutely unbelievable. Coulter is a one-of-a-kind author who knows how to hook her readers and keep them coming back for more. I also enjoyed the bit of mystery involved in the second half of the novel on Dia I really enjoyed this sequel to Midsummer magic. Books cathrine Catherine Coulter. Overall, while there were some good scenes, I wouldn’t really recommend the book.

She lives in Sausalito, California. One thing I really like about this novel is that the main characters genuinely like each other for a majority of the book – as opposed to so many other historical romance novels that keep the hero and heroine carherine and fighting with each other for a majority of the novel.
Enter the villians and the excitement of an evil plot and a twisted killer. It doesn’t pretend to be anything else except a relaxing bubble bath read. I mean I usually try not to go that long in between installments of the series. It is the story of Diana Savarol and Lionel, two people with a fast mouth and bad tempers when riled. I quit after pages. Now, eleven years later, we’re reissuing the trilogy with brand-new clothes. Jul 01, Cheryl rated it liked it.
Anne Flosnik, the narrator, did an excellent job with the audiobook. But Aunt Lucia has other plans, and enlists Lyonel in teaching Diana how to dance and how to go about in London society, forcing them into constant contact. When returning his distant cousin to her father’s plantation in the Carribean, they are put ashore an island during asea battle and then married by the ship’s captain.
But choose her he does, and for all the wrong reasons. And the love scenes were great. This book Lyon never stopped being superior, though he does have some reasons, still he needed to lighten up.
Calypso Magic was no different.

In any case, I hope it’s not another two years before I remember to read the sequel for this book.
